Engelkes had a good effect on the Wagner year 2013

She opened in January with her own theatre and music version of Flygande Holländare at Helsingborg City Theatre.

In March she challenged the Swedish Opera in Stockholm with Very Wagnerian Night presenting her acclaimed works Miss Very Wagner and Siegfried-The Very Wagner Hero Hour for a totally sold out opera house. The first solo also performed the Baltic Sea Festival at Berwald Hall in August.

Finally the third part of her on-going Allkunstwerk process premiered at Dansens Hus Stockholm in October with All Is Divine, a unique collaboration with Singaporean/Swedish singers and dancers. The piece guested Nordwind festival Hamburg in december and will tour again spring 2015.

Goethe institute invited Charlotte to represent Sweden with My Personal Wagner 2013. Video by 29 media.

2013 was also the year she premiered her first own opera production KIRA-In the House where I live, together with Västerås Sinfonietta, music by Swedish composer Anders Nilsson, libretto Sophie Holgersson and Engelkes. Her new version of Miss Julie- The Musical was invites several times during the year at the Royal Theatre Dramaten in Stockholm. The year had a good and happy effect on Engelkes.
